No, we can only set up a Direct Debit on your BT account at the request of the BT account holder (that's you).
But we can set up a Direct Debit on your BT account using a third party's bank or building society. However, we need the third party to tell us their bank or building society account details (account holder name, bank account number, and sort code).
Here's how to do it:
- The BT account holder contacts us to say they want to pay by Direct Debit on a third party's bank or building society account
- The third party contacts us to agree to this and to tell us their banking details
- If the third party is not available when the BT account holder contacts us, we can send a paper Direct Debit instruction for them to complete and sign
