Will I need to change my router if I'm being moved to Next Generation Broadband?
All existing BT supplied equipment supports Next Generation Broadband.
Some of the older modems, for example, Speedtouch, will limit the throughput speed to 4Mbit/s.
Any additional services or products associated with your BT Business Total Broadband service, for example, Static IP addresses, will also continue to work after this change has been made.
If you have a non-BT supplied router, you should check with your router supplier or manufacturer to establish whether the router is compatible with ADSL2+.
