What affects my broadband speed?
When functioning correctly, your Broadband traffic speed can still vary according to the total amount of Business Broadband traffic at any given time. At peak times, it may be significantly reduced. It is also affected by the speeds of websites you visit.
It can be measured by an online speed checker, such as Speedtest.net, but as speeds vary constantly, these tests provide only a snapshot of your speed.
BT Business Total Broadband services, including the BT Infinity for business service, are designed to provide you with the fastest possible speed under any line conditions.
Any low Broadband speed is likely to be temporary, but if it is permanently low, please see the FAQ below.
