How can I get a VAT invoice?
Online VAT invoices are only available to view and download if you're signed up to paper-free billing. If you receive a bill in the post, you'll also receive your paper VAT invoice and will be unable to download a further copy online due to HM Revenue & Customs rules.
To view your latest VAT invoice, sign in to Your account. You then have two options:
- From the Billing & payments overview screen, select the account for which you want to view the bill, then click View my bill
Or,
- From any screen within the Billing & payments area, click Your latest bills or Previous bills from the menu on the left of the screen
- Use the Switch Account dropdown in the top-right of the Bill Summary banner to select the account for which you want to view the bill
Then, to download your VAT invoice:
- Click VAT invoice
- Click on the relevant Bill date
- Click Download
- Click Open
