How do I search the BT Phone Book online?

You can be search the BT Phone Book online, for contact details of registered people and businesses across the UK.

To search online:

1. Open a browser.
2. Enter the URL www.thephonebook.bt.com into the address bar located at the top of the browser.
   
   To find a business:
3. Either click on the Business type link or the Business name link.
4. Enter the search criteria in the appropriate field, Business type or Business name fields, depending upon which you have clicked in step 3.
5. Enter the location in the location field.
6. Then click on the search button. Your results will be displayed as a list for your search.
   
   To find a person, search for residential names by entering the surname and location of the person you are searching for.
7. Click on the Residential name link.
8. Enter the surname of the person you are searching for in the Surname field. 
9. Enter the location of where this person lives in the Location field.
10. Then click on the search button. Your results will be displayed as a list for your search.
    
    To find the International dialling codes: 
11. Select International code link on the page.
12. Select your search criteria by selecting the option for either a dial code by location or a location by dial code. 
13. Select an option from the drop-down menu for a location if you selected dial code by location or a dial code if you selected location by dial code.
14. Click on the search button. Your results will be listed for your search.
    
    To find the UK dialling codes: 
15. Select the UK codes link on the page. 
16. Enter your search criteria for the dialling code or region you want to find the dialling code for, in the Region or Code field.
17. Click on the search button. Your results will be listed for your search.
