How do I stop extension DDI numbers from being transmitted on out-going calls?

The extensions DDI number is being forwarded because the LID setting for the route, is either 1 or 2.

To stop the DN information being transmitted, so only the main number is shown, LID needs to be set to 0 (ZERO).

For DASS/ISDN30 type ccts:

Print out the RDB (Route Data Block) using overlay LD 21 and check the LID setting.

It can be changed using LD 16. Once is it set to 0, the billing number only will be sent in the CLI.

For ISDN30E type ccts, also known as EURO or ETSI:

LD 21
REQ: PRT
TYPE: RDB
CUST 0
ROUT <route number>

If under ISDN you see the following, highlighted in red.

ISDN YES
MODE PRA
IFC E403
CNTY ETSI*
SBN NO
PNI 00001
NCNA NO

* Denotes Euro ISDN

To stop the DDI extension number going out and to send only the main number then a check of the CDB (Customer Data Block) is required as follows:

LD 21
REQ: PRT
TYPE: CLID
CUST 0

Press return (twice) until data is output

ENTRY 0
HNTN
ESA_HLCL
ESA_INHN NO
ESA_APDN YES
HLCL
DIDN YES
HLOC
LSC
CLASS_FMT DN

CLID sending extn DDI instead of main switch number.

The solution to this problem is to change CDB, under NET_DATA and then CLID YES look for DIDN prompt and set to NO.

This will then follow HLCL prompt and will only send the main site number.
