How do I set up port forwarding on the BT Business Hub 3?

You can open all ports for a specific computer and/or selected ports based on application rules on the BT Business Hub 3.

To set up basic Port Forwarding on your BT Business Hub 3 simply:

  1. Open your web browser and browse to http://btbusinesshub.home to open the Hub Manager.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. When prompted, enter the admin password and click OK.
  4. Click Port Forwarding.
  5. Select the required rule from the Game or Application drop down list.
  6. Select the PC from the Device drop down list that the port needs to be added to.
  7. Click Add.


If the application you want to use doesn't appear in the list, follow the steps below to set up advanced Port Forwarding:

  1. Open your web browser and browse to http://btbusinesshub.home to open the Hub Manager.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. When prompted, enter the admin password and click OK.
  4. Click on Advanced Settings and then Continue to Advanced Settings.
  5. Now select Port Forwarding and then Supported Applications.
  6. Click Add a New Game or Application.
  7. Enter Application name.
    This will describe the port that you are adding and will also be used to identify the name of the port rule as listed in the drop down.
  8. Enter the required ports in the fields provided, click Add for each port required.
  9. Click Apply once all ports have been added.
  10. Go to Configuration.
  11. Choose the newly created application from the Game or Application drop down list.
  12. Select your device from the Device drop down list or select user Defined IP Address.
  13. If using defined IP, enter the appropriate IP in the box provided.
  14. Click Add.
