How do I reset my password for Your account?
It’s simple. Just get online and follow the numbered steps below.
- Go to Your account and click on Forgotten your password?
- Once the Forgotten your password? page displays, enter your user name and click on the Next button.
- When the Security question page displays, enter the answer to your security question and click on the Next button.
- Now enter your new password twice and click on the Change password button.
- Expect to see a confirmation message displayed.
If your user name doesn’t end with @btconnect.com, you’re using a non-BT broadband line or you’re using a virtual private network (VPN) we’ll send an email to your contact email address, with a change password PIN. Once you get the PIN:
- enter it in the PIN field within 60 minutes and click Next, then;
- go to Step 4 above
Don’t close the window while waiting for your PIN. The PIN expires after 60 minutes, but you can gain an extra hour by clicking the request another hour.
