How do I divert calls from my phone?
You can divert calls to another number (including your mobile) when you’re away from the phone or making a call, by using Call Diversion.
Just follow these simple instructions:
- Press the * key
- Enter one of these codes:
- 21 to divert all calls
- 61 to divert calls you don’t answer within 15 seconds
- 67 to divert calls when your phone is engaged
- Press the * key again
- Enter the phone number you want to divert calls to
- Press the # key
To check Call Diversion is on:
- Press the * key
- Press the # key
- Enter the code you used when you switched on call diversion (21, 61 or 67)
- Press the # key again
To switch off call diversion
- Press the # key
- Enter the code you used when you switched on call diversion (21, 61 or 67)
- Press the # key
Call Diversion and Call Barring
If you want to use call barring you have to switch on call diversion. Find out how to use Call Barring.
Call Diversion and BT text users
Once you’ve switched off Call Diversion, you need to re-register for BT text by texting the word register to 00000.
