How are domain names renewed?
If you bought your domain name through our Domains Centre with a credit or debit card, we’ll renew it automatically unless you tell us not to.
Alternatively, you can renew online:
- Log in to Your account
- Click on the Manage services link at the top of the page.
- In the Domains section, click on the Manage your domain link.
Automatic renewal
We’ll send you an email to let you know 60 days before your domain name is due for renewal. If you don’t want to renew it, just log in to the Domains Centre and take off the renewal notice.
Otherwise, we’ll renew your domain name automatically 45 days before it is due to expire.
What happens if there’s a problem?
If we can’t renew your domain name because there’s a problem with your card, we’ll send you an email 60 and 45 days before it’s due to be renewed. This will ask you to visit the Domains Centre and give us new payment details.
If we don’t hear from you, the domain name registration will expire.
