How can I start using my web hosting package from BT?

In order to start using your package, you need to activate your account for the first time. You will either have purchased a domain name during the set up journey or not. Please choose an option, by clicking on it, from the list below and follow the instructions:

• Already ordered a domain when buying your hosting?
• Haven't yet ordered a domain name?
• Not sure if you have ordered a domain name?

Already ordered a domain when buying your hosting?

1. Log into myoffice.bt.com.
2. Click on the manage your Web Hosting Service link within the Alert box.

   

3. Click on the Activate this web hosting package link.

   The following is displayed:
   

   

5. Enter an FTP password in the FTP password field.

7. Re-enter the same password in the Re-enter password field.
8. Click on the Save Changes link.
9. Then confirm your primary domain name by checking the tick box from the list of domains. If you have more than one, select the primary domain name and click on the Yes button.
10. Your website should now be activated and the following message will be dispalyed:

    

Haven't yet ordered a domain name?

1. Log into myoffice.bt.com.
2. Click on the manage your Web Hosting Service link within the Alert box.

   

3. Click on the + button, next to the Configure Domain Name link.

4. 

5. Select the Register a domain option.
6. Search for a domain name by entering your choice in the www. field and click on the Search button.

7. 

8. Select your domain name and click the continue button. You will see a confirmation of your domain name order. You should take a note of this number.
9. Wait 5 - 10 minutes.
10. Log into myoffice.bt.com.
11. Click on the manage your Web Hosting Service link.
12. Click on the Activate this web hosting package link.
    

    

13. Enter an FTP password in the FTP password field.

15. Re-enter the same password in the Re-enter password field.
16. Click on the Save Changes link
17. Then confirm your primary domain name by checking the tick box from the list of domains. If you have more than one, select the primary domain name and click on the Yes button. Your website should now be activated.
18. To start managing your service, click on the Manage yourdomain link.

Not sure if you have ordered a domain name?

1. Log into myoffice.bt.com within the Alerts box.
2. The following is dispalyed:

   

   
   

   However, if the following is displayed:
   
   

   
   

   You have not registered a domain. Please follow the instructions for Haven't yet ordered a domain name?
