How do I add PayPal to my BT eShop?
To use PayPal with BT eShop:
- Log into Your Account.
- Click on the Manage services link at the top of the page. The Manage services page is displayed:

- In the BT eShop section, click on the Manage your online shop link. You are now in the Merchant Back Office.
- Go to Settings.
- Select Shipping and Payment from the Settings tab column on the left.
- Select the Payment Methods tab.
- In the Payment Methods column, you will see a blank box. Enter the PayPal payment option in this box.
- In the Calculation Model column, select PayPal from the drop-down menu.
- Click on the Save button.
- Click on PayPal payment option in the right-hand column again. A new page is displayed.
- In the Name box, enter PayPal - shop the fast, safe and easy way to pay online. This is what your customers will see when they get to the check out.
- We recommend that you enter You don’t need to have a PayPal account to pay with PayPal in the notes section.
- Click on the Save button.
- Select the Settings tab. If you do not already have a PayPal account, please sign up here.
- Under 3. Settings for Payment Processing, change the Operational Mode to Live.
- We recommend that you select all the cards displayed in 5. Select credit cards to maximise your sales conversion.
- Click on the Save button.
- Above the Save button there is a Related topics bar. Click on the Navigation link within this bar.
- On the page layout diagram, select the section of the page where you would like to see the PayPal logo and accepted cards appear. We recommend the right-hand section of the site.
- From the Available Navigation Elements menu on the left-hand side, select Symbols for accepted credit cards (PayPal).
- Click on the double right arrow to make this appear in the Assigned Navigation Elements column on the right.
- Select PayPal - the fast, safe and easy way to pay online link from the History column on the left-hand side.
- Select the General tab.
- Select Yes in the Visible option.
- Click on the Save button.
