Using Worldpay with BT eShop

Take credit and debit card payments online. This is a Payment (WorldPay) solution that could really make a difference to your business.

Worldpay and BT eShop V.5

You may notice that since the upgrade of your BT eShop, WorldPay payments are no longer working. This is due to a change in the Callback URL. This is the piece of information that tells WorldPay the location of your store, so that it can complete a transaction and tell your store whether the online credit/debit card payment has been successful. Although the Callback URL has changed format, it is very simple to rectify this.

Firstly, visit your Merchant Back Office (MBO), and visit the Settings module (use the button on the top menu bar) and select Shipping and Payment from the menu bar on the left-hand side of the screen.

Now click on the payment tab, and you will find a payment method called Credit/Debit Card via WorldPay, or simply WorldPay. Click on this payment method, and select the settings tab for this payment method. The 5th line from the top of this page is called Callback URL. Copy and paste this entire link (it may well run onto two lines).

Now visit http://support.worldpay.com/admin/ and type in your WorldPay username and password. Find your live WorldPay account and choose configuration options on the right-hand side of the page. Some way down this page is a text entry field called Callback URL. Paste the Callback URL that you copied from the BT eShop into this box and click save changes at the bottom of the page.

Your WorldPay payment method is now reactivated.
