A Multi Line Hunt Group (MLHG) allows you to direct incoming calls to a selection of available lines in a specified sequence until one of them answers. You can use a MLHG can set up a call centre or help desk.
One or more of the numbers in the MLHG can act as pilot numbers for the group. If a pilot number is busy when called, the call will be redirected to next available line in the MLHG, going through them sequentially in their listed order until the call is answered. If all lines in the MLHG are busy, new calls can be queued.

To display the details of an MLHG:
- Log in to the VoIP Portal with your BT Broadband Voice number and password.
- Click on the MLHGs link to display the MLHGs Settings page.
- Click on the telephone number for the MLHG that you want to edit to display its settings page.
If you want to forward calls for a number in the MLHG, for example, for calls outside of office hours, click on the number and specify how you want to forward calls for the number.
If you want to reject calls for a number in the MLHG, click on the number and specify when you want to reject calls for the number.
If you want to change the order that the lines within the MLHG are called, click on the lines in MLHG link. Move the lines up or down the list using the buttons on the end of each row.
If you want to add a new line to the MLHG, click on the add lines link and enter the details of the new line.
Note: Each line in the business group can only belong to one MLHG. If you want to remove a line from the MLHG, click on the remove lines link and select the line that you want to remove.
If you want to specify which line in the MLHG receives a call, click on the hunt settings link and select which line will receive a call. There are three choices for determining which non-busy line in the MLHG will receive a call, linear, circular or uniform.
If you want to rename the MLHG, click on the rename link and enter the new name.
If you want to display statistics for the MLHG, click on the statistics link. For a given time period, the number of calls queued, rejected and answered immediately on each line in the MLHG are displayed.
