How do I set up port forwarding on the BT Hub?
You can allow specific types of inbound port unrestricted access to a given server.
Note:
The Ethernet LAN ports are 10/100 full duplex. The VoIP ports are also full duplex
To set up port forwarding:
- From a computer connected to the Intelligent Gateway, open a browser and connect to the Intelligent Gateway user interface via http://gateway.2wire.net.
- Click on the Firewall tab.
- Click on Firewall Settings.

- Select the computer for which you would like to have specific ports open on the Intelligent Gateway firewall. In the following example, the computer selected is WEBSRV.

- Select the Allow individual application(s) option.
- Select the required application from the application list.
- In this example, the application type is Web Server.

- Click on DONE.

Notes:
Each application type in the hosted application list is associated with one or more UDP or TCP ports. Clicking on the View firewall details link displays the ports that are currently being directed to each computer on the network. If the desired application type is not available in the list, custom port grouping (both UDP and TCP) can be specified.
To specify customer port grouping, click on the Add a user defined application link, enter a name for the custom application and enter the ports that are to be allowed.
