Manually backing up files

BT PC Backup is configured to back up files automatically. However, you can manually perform backups, if required.

To manually back up files:

Open BT PC Backup.
Do one of the following:
- From the File menu, select Backup Now.
- Click on the Summary or Backup Set tab and click on the Backup Now button.
The manual backup starts. The Backing Up dialog is displayed, showing the progress of the backup:
Once the backup is complete, you can view the outcome of your most recent backup by clicking on the Summary tab. A summary of your most recent backup is displayed in the Last Backup panel:
To view more details about the backup, click the View Details link in the Last Backup panel to display the View History Details dialog:
