I'm moving: how much notice should I give BT?

Timescales for transferring your services vary depending on:

  • The complexity of the products to be moved
  • Appointment availability
  • The state of the premises that you wish to move to

If you want to move your BT Business Broadband service and have it working on the same day as your phone line, you must give us a minimum of 10 working days, however completion times could be dependent on the outcome of a survey and appointment availability. Your broadband can be activated once your phone line is fully up and working. If you have broadband with another supplier, you may not be able to connect broadband on the same day as your line. More complex & multi-line products will almost certainly take longer.
