When you launch BT Business Mobile Broadband when you're roaming for the first time, you'll receive a text alert that will trigger a pop-up in the BT Access Manager.
This will tell you the data roaming charges that apply wherever you are.
You'll need to make sure that you've got the latest version of Access Manager so that you can receive these text alerts. Check out How do I install BT Access Manager? for help.
