What are the paper-free Terms and Conditions?

This service does not affect the contract conditions under which you receive your existing  telephone service.

By applying for this service you are agreeing, to receive the BT accounts as selected by you via our secure online service in place of your existing paper bill. This service is run at no additional cost to you, but please note that charges may be incurred for connection to BT.com via your Internet Service Provider.

To receive this service you will need to be subject to a BT business tariff option. If any payment default occurs on any of your BT bills you will be withdrawn from the service.

To receive this service you must have an e-mail address. When registering for this service, you are agreeing to continually maintain your billing e-mail address, as held against your BT.com profile. This will be the only means by which BT will inform you that a bill is available to view.

This is a Online Billing service, no paper copies of bills will be provided and any special delivery arrangements you may have will not apply. Bills may be printed or saved from your Internet Browser.

Your bills will be held online for a maximum of 15 months. If you wish to keep a record of your bills for your business use (VAT or other reasons) the bills may be printed or saved from your Internet Browser.

Split bills showing call charges and rentals separately will not be available as part of this service. We will provide a split paper bill if you require it, but we will remove that account from the service.

If you presently enjoy BT's consolidated billing service you will not be able to receive this service if any of the accounts you wish to receive on-line form part of the consolidated account.

Whilst receiving this service it will not be possible for you to migrate to BT's consolidated billing service. If you wish to take advantage of consolidated billing we will have to remove you from the service.

For technical reasons we may have to remove you from the service if you move premises.

The payment will be shown on your next e-bill. If such a payment is due it must be paid within 14 days of receipt of the e-bill using the online Debit Card payment option or Internet/Telebanking.

Bills will only be available in English at present. Whilst receiving this service, BT may contact you, either by e-mail or by phone, for your views on this service as part of the ongoing electronic billing development programme. We will also give you an opportunity to offer feedback on line. Your comments will be taken into consideration in any enhancements to this service.

Any failure to remain within the terms and conditions outlined, e.g. failure to keep your e-mail address up-to-date; may result in your removal from this service. In this event, you will be notified and returned to the normal paper billing service.
