I have enabled Auto Attendant on my BT Versatility, with the group option checked, but it is not responding to incoming calls. Why is this?

If the System Voicemail is not set to answer calls, it will over-ride the Auto Attendant feature.

It is OK to have both the Auto Attendant and the System Voicemail enabled for the same line(s), but remember:

  • When the System Voicemail is set to OFF the Auto Attendant will answer the calls.
  • When the System Voicemail is set to ON it will answer the calls.
