Follow the steps below to change the extension name:
- Open Element Manager.
- In the Task Navigation Panel click the Configuration tab.
- Extend Telephony, extend Sets and click on Active Sets.
- Click on the Line Access tab at the top of the Active sets window.
You will now see a list of all the working extensions on your system.
- Click on the extension (DN) you want to change.
- Double click in the Name box and enter the new name to a maximum of 7 characters.
