Why is the display on an IP phone showing Locked out from Login?

If the login sequence is incorrect, for example a wrong ID or station control password is entered, a Permission Denied or Invalid ID message is displayed.

After three failed attempts Locked from Login will be displayed. No further attempts can be made until a reset is performed.

To reset, the choices are: 

  • wait one hour for the lock to clear automatically
  • make a change on the TN 
  • disable and enable the TN of the remote IP phone using LD 32
