The information below relates to USB modems with a BT logo. If yours has a ZTE logo please see Installing the ZTE MF823
Once BT Access Manager Client has loaded, you can tell if your ZTE USB Modem is correctly installed by following the steps below:
- Plug in your ZTE modem into the USB port.
- Click on Start.
- Right click on My Computer or Computer and select Properties.
- From the Hardware tab, select Device Manager.
Vista users select Device Manager under Tasks.
- Expand Modems. The ZTE modem should appear in the list.
Note: This sequence may vary slightly depending on your operating system.
If the ZTE modem is not listed in the Modems menu, or an exclamation mark is shown after the modem, the Mobile Broadband dongle has not correctly installed. This is caused either by auto run not initialising the ZTE as a modem, or an error registering on the PC.
