After April 8th 2014, Microsoft no longer provides support and technical assistance for Windows XP, including automatic updates that help protect your PC. Support for Microsoft Outlook 2003 was also discontinued from this date.
For this reason, BT is unable to provide support to users of Windows XP or Outlook 2003. Our recommendation is to upgrade to a supported operating system and supported email software.
If you continue to use Windows XP or Outlook 2003 after support ends, your computer will still work but it might become more vulnerable to security risks and viruses. Also, as software and hardware manufacturers continue to optimise for more recent versions of Windows, you can expect to find more apps and devices that don't work with Windows XP.
