How can I control all outgoing calls from certain extensions?

Administrators can set up certain people with authorisation codes so they can make calls to some types of numbers (all external calls or long distance only) that other people - without the code - cannot.

 The administrator:

  • Activates or deactivates the feature
  • Sets the length of the code (2-14 digits)
  • Selects whether the feature should apply to all calls or exclude local calls
  • Selects who is assigned to the ‘Authorisation Code’ list

How do I set it up?

  1. Login to the BT Cloud Voice portal
  2. From the ‘Sites’ menu, select the site you're interested in
  3. Select ’Features
  4. Select ‘Account and Authorization Codes’

Setting up the code

  • Select ‘General Settings’ from the box on the left
