How do I reset my voicemail PIN (passcode)?

To reset a forgotten PIN

  1. Login to the BT Cloud Voice Portal
  2. Select Employees
  3. Select Service Settings
  4. Select Service Passwords
  5. From Passwords to Change, select the Application drop down and select Voicemail Portal PIN
  6. Enter your new PIN number – refer to password rules if required
  7. Click Change Password

To change your PIN from your extension

  1. Dial *62 from your phone
  2. Press ‘8’ and follow the instructions - refer to password rules if required

To change your PIN from another location

  1. Dial into the Voice Portal using the full Voice Portal Number
  2. Enter your extension number (e.g. 1234)
  3. Enter your Voice Portal PIN
  4. Press ‘8’ and follow the instructions - refer to password rules if required

Important

  1. Every 60 days a voice prompt will ask you to change your PIN.
  2. The Voice Portal will lock you out after 5 unsuccessful login attempts in a row. You'll have to then ask your administrator to unlock your portal.
  3. If you reset your PIN through the BT Cloud Voice Portal, for security reasons you'll be asked to change it again next time you log in to the Voice Portal.
