Your presence status lets your colleagues know whether you're available or not to take a call. It also affects the way your calls are handled, depending on where you are and what you're doing.
You can set your presence status-
- On the BT One Phone portal in Call Settings and then the My Availability section; or
- On your phone using the dial-in service menu (dial 8880 then choose option 1); or
- On your phone using the BT One Phone mobile app if you've got it installed; or
- Using the Alert client: left click on the alert client icon (in your tool tray) and choose the relevant status from the drop down menu in Change status. This will immediately update your presence status and the information in the Status Info window and in the company directory.
