I don't know what my computer's IP address is. How do I check it?

Choose the operating system your computer runs on below and we'll guide you through how to find it. Remember this will only give you the local IP address your computers been given from your hub. If you want to find out the public IP address of your hub you can use a site like www.whatismyip.com

Microsoft Windows 8 or Microsoft Windows 8.1

  1. Move your mouse pointer to the bottom right of the screen (swipe one finger from the right if using a touchscreen)
  2. Select Search and type in ' cmd'.
  3. Select cmd from the search results
  4. In the black screen that comes up type in ipconfig /all and tap the Enter key.



  5. ipconfig /all
  6. You'll see a screen like the above. In this case the IP address is 192.168.1.214.

Microsoft Windows 7 or Microsoft Windows Vista

  1. Click the Start icon (you'll find this in the bottom left of your computer screen).
  2. Type cmd in the Search programs and files field (do not press the Enter key).
  3. Click cmd.
  4. In the black screen that comes up type in ipconfig /all and tap the Enter key.



  5. ipconfig /all
  6. You'll see a screen like the above. In this case the IP address is 192.168.1.214.

  3. Select Accessories, then Command Prompt In the black screen that comes up type in ipconfig /all and tap the Enter key.

  4. You'll see a screen like the above. In this case the IP address is 192.168.1.214.

Apple OSX (MacOS) 10.4 or later

  1. In the top right corner of the screen click on Spotlight (the magnifying glass) and type in Network Utility.

    ipconfig /all
  2. Select Network Utility from the results
  3. From the drop down box highlighted select your connection method (e.g. Wi-Fi)

    ipconfig /all
  4. You'll then get your IP address. In this case it's 192.168.1.102
