How do I change my business email and My BT Business account password?

Your business email account password is the password you use to log in to your account and webmail. It can be changed through Manage services.

We're making some improvements to our Manage services website that'll make it easier to use. We've started to move customers to the new site but it's going to take a while until we move everyone over.  In the meantime, we're using two different sets of answers to some of our Frequently Asked Questions. This isn't ideal, we know.

To make sure you get the right answer to your question, we first need to check which Manage services website you're on.

Which Manage services website am I on?

  1. Sign in to Manage services
  2. Take a look at the screen you see after you've signed in
  3. Click on the image below that matches your actual Manage services screen (the new one has a purple right hand column titled Hello followed by your name)

We'll then show you the right answer to your question.

For security, we recommend you change your password frequently. To do so, just follow the steps below.

  1. Log in to My BT Business account
  2. Click on the Manage services (or Account settings) link at the top of the page
  3. In the Your Account Settings section click on the Change password or secret Q&A link
  4. The Your Account details page is displayed. In the Account Details section, select Change password
  5. Enter your existing password in the current password box
  6. Enter your new password in the New password and Re-enter new password boxes
  7. Click submit and your password will be updated immediately

  3. Enter your old and new details
  4. Click Enter and your password will be updated immediately
